Welcome to Harris & Moore Ltd, meet the team and read about how we came to be the plumbing & heating engineers of choice.

Where did it all start?

James & Brendan met 7 years ago, whilst working for a local plumbing & heating company. Brendan became James’s apprentice plumber and they quickly found they worked so well together, not just as colleagues but as great friends too.

After years of working together for other companies, they finally decided, early 2022, to take the plunge and set up their own business together. That’s when Harris & Moore Ltd was launched.

Brendan

Brendan is a military man, he left the army in 2016 to pursue a career in the plumbing & heating industry. He absolutely flew through his apprenticeship with flying colours, earning his gas qualification in 2017.

He soon added to his knowledge by successfully passing his Oil course. Brendan is a hugely talented engineer.

If you need quality, efficient workmanship, Brendan’s your guy.

Outside of work, he is a devoted father to his daughter and keeps himself fit by training at the gym. He’s always active and setting new goals in his life with his fiancé.

JAMES

James left school at 16 and immediately started his apprenticeship with a local company to become a heating engineer. He too, flew through his exams and gained his gas qualifications.

James quickly went from strength to strength in his career, earning his certifications in oil and LPG systems.

He successfully climbed the ladder with another local plumbing firm, becoming domestic manager, leading a team of engineers.

James is an extremely experienced, methodical engineer. He’s a perfectionist at what he does and will always give his all.

Outside of work, he enjoys a cosy home life with his wife and stepson and always has a home project on the go to keep himself busy in the evenings and weekends.

ELLA

Ella is the center of the team, holding up the office division of the company. She has gained a huge amount of customer service and office experience throughout her career.

There’s no challenge she won’t take on, whether it’s tackling accounts or providing top notch customer service, she’s on it.

Outside of work, she’s a devoted mum & wife. Ella has a love for running, she’s also a very social person and enjoys having drinks and food with friends.

SAM

Sam joined Harris and Moore in August 2024 after providing us with exceptional service as a subcontractor for some months.

We quickly realised Sam’s talents as an engineer and knew he would be such an asset to the team we just had to offer him a full-time position with us.

He’s definitely the funny one of the group, having us in fits of laughter on a daily basis. His commitment to the job, professionalism and caring nature with our customers is second to none.

We are delighted to have Sam with us. Sam has a huge love for all animals, so when he’s not grafting away at work, he’s spending time with his extensive collection of pets, whom he shares with his family.
