Cold spots in some or all of your radiators could indicate air in the system, in which case your radiators could need bleeding. It could also suggest the Thermostatic radiator valves are stuck. Another reason could be that your boiler is malfunctioning and may need replacement parts for example a new central heating pump. Finally, your system could be full of sludge and rust and may need a power flush.

The main reasons for this happening are due to issues with either the flush valve, overflow pipe or fill valve.

Locate the condensate pipe outside of your property and pour warm water over it. After a few minutes it should have thawed, and you can reset your boiler.
